Sometimes there are items in your wallet that cannot be loaded completely. Issues causing this can range from invalid metadata links to network errors making certain information inaccessible. When this happens, the items are placed into the Unknown Tab.
Click the toggle on the bottom left of the page. The tab will appear at the top of the page.
No, and this is why the most important check is your own manual check while selecting and before approving the transaction. There are multiple opportunities to do this and this should be what you rely on the most. The safety features are meant to help make it harder to make a mistake, but are not perfect as they are pulling data from third party sources, which may fail, or the asset may be too new or obscure to have accurate data on it.
If a value can be found for an unknown token, it can be hidden by selecting the dollar value on the slider. As seen above, if you click "$10" it will hide any tokens worth more than $10. DO NOT RELY ON THIS 100%. Tokens are in the Unknown tab for a reason. Verify what you wanting to burn when using this tab. The slider cannot be 100% accurate.
WARNING: Unknown items could be NFTs, whitelist tokens, or other valuable items. If you do not know what a item is, do NOT burn it.
